Just a Girl in the City

My sister always tells me that I live in my own little world and I always respond to her that it is ok because they know me there. So, I thought that it was time that I share what transpires in my little world. I am the owner of Ashleigh's Fine Paper located at the Fresh Market shopping center on Lawndale Drive here in Greensboro, NC. When I am not at work, which is very rare, I like to enjoy great food and ah-mazing wine in the company of my family and friends. A self proclaimed music junkie...I am always making new playlists for the store to include all of my latest and greatest finds. I also like to find new, interesting local restaurants and shops worth passing along and visiting old haunts too.

I like to think of myself as the fairy godmother of all things paper that has a long love affair with fabulous stationery, invitations and gifts as unique as me. I also have an intense love of planning legendary soirees. I breathe and live to be the leader of our pack and creative mastermind of Ashleigh's Fine Paper. I am in a nutshell...big dreams, lots of wishing, and a rock star with a tiara and you will never find me without a sugar free red bull and my iphone close by.

I have the honor of working with two lovely ladies, Brooke and Christina, who try their best to keep my seriously ADD mind on track. Brooke, my sister, is the source of most of the straight talk here at the store. She is a fabulously quirky, curly haired blonde who is the proud mother of two at home and the sometimes frustrated mother of two here at the store who tries to keep Christina and me in line :) She is a water bum and truly her happiest in the sun and her motto...You just can never get enough Vitamin D!

Christina is definitely the most laid back of the three of us but don't let her big brown eyes and innocent look fool you completely because she does have a feisty side. She truly has a genuine love for new ideas and creativity which shows in her work. She lends her own style to our lives here at AFP and is taking us somewhere that is for sure! She spends most of her free time planning her upcoming wedding, cooking with her soon to be hubby aka The Chef or watching GLEE!

I know I speak for us all when I say that we consider it a luxury and a privilege to be in the business of announcing our customers' major life events. It is an immense thrill and challenge for everyone to work together as a team, producing what you have assembled using the building blocks here at AFP. We are passionate about what we do. Most days it is really fun, but every day it is rewarding.
